Another month passes and some more beautiful fabric mysteriously appears in my workroom…
Two lots of sweet fat quarters from my discount shopping secret place.
I generally create and sew from fat quarters so it’s always a good idea to have plenty of them on hand…
[various fabrics from Red Rooster Fabrics; Lake House Dry Goods; Makower Uk; Adorn It; Camelot Cottons; Windham Fabrics; Andover Fabrics; Studio E Fabrics; Henry Glass Fabrics; and lots more that I can’t tell because the printed selvedge wasn’t included)
These are from the same shop – but sold in a whole metre – and for some strange reason they are cheaper than the fat quarters.
These have an almost vintage sheet appeal to them, which I like, but without them being “vintage” or second-hand.
(I have a thing about “used” goods)
My LQS was have a relocation sale so I thought I would lighten their load by buying some lovelies off the roll. The more metres you bought the bigger the discount – ahem… moving on…
[Leaves: Whimsy Jungle by Cathy Heck for Spring Creative Products; Floral: Jungle Fun by Fabric Freedom; Geometric: Jezebel by Anna Fishkin for Red Rooster Fabrics]
And show and tell is never over until a trip to Spotlight is mentioned… these two lots purchased over two visits.
[Strawberries: Sunshine Poly Cotton #4; Floral: Country Garden Poly Cotton; Deer: Buzock Duck #11; Fish: Buzock cotton duck – made in Japan]
I have a list of things I want to make for birthdays and Christmas so this little stash should keep me going for some time…
Gorgeous selection of fabrics Sonya. They will keep you inspired and busy sewing. 🙂
